Creepy Crawly Weekend
4 and 5 July
For kids (and adults) who love insects, and we know you exist, we’ve got four great Creepy Crawly events over the weekend. It’s all FREE, which is amazing. But Kids, you must accompany a parent or carer on all these events ….just in case they get frightened!
On Saturday and Sunday morning, cosy-up in our snug-as-a-bug Igloo cinema for the Bugs and Beasts animation programme. Over in the Shrewsbury Room at Rowley’s House, the twittering and tweeting little ELFs (Electronic Life Forms) have set up their temporary home. And, if you fancy getting all hands-on then why not join us on The Shift
Time Bug Trail on Sunday afternoon (for kids, but we wont stop adults coming too), looking for bugs and stuff, in the meadow Charles Darwin explored.
Want even more? Ok, then, there’s the ultimate, mind-blowing, feature length, creepy crawly film Microcosmos. (See separate entries for details).
